Intersections Forum: Sessions

Thoughtful conversations where art, architecture, and public space meet.

Some conversations deserve more than a lecture. They deserve dialogue.

Intersections Forum: Sessions is a new series of live conversations presented by Studio Tour Magazine, bringing together leading creative voices to explore how art, architecture, and design shape the places we live and the lives we lead.

Designed as a more intimate companion to the annual Intersections Forum, each Session focuses on a single theme, offering insightful discussion, audience questions, and meaningful conversation.

Our First Session

Who Shapes the City?

Art, Architecture, and Public Space

Join architect, educator, and author John Hatch and internationally recognized muralist and community artist Leon Rainbow for an evening exploring the relationship between architecture, public art, and the spaces that define our communities.

How do buildings influence the way we live? How do murals transform neighborhoods? Who shapes the identity of a city, and what role can artists, architects, and everyday citizens play in creating places that are beautiful, welcoming, and meaningful?

Drawing from their decades of experience, Hatch and Rainbow will discuss the power of design, public art, placemaking, and creative collaboration to strengthen communities and enrich everyday life.

Wednesday, September 30

6:30–8:00 PM

Whether you’re an artist, architect, designer, student, community leader, or simply someone who cares about the future of our cities, you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation for the creative forces that shape the world around us—and perhaps begin seeing your own community differently.

Reserve your seat today.
